Abstract

Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children under five years old due to chronic malnutrition, making them too short for their age. Malnutrition occurs since the baby is in the womb and in the early period after the baby is born. However, the stunting condition only appears after the baby is 2 years old. This research aims to develop the Choco Browlee PMT (Supplementary Feeding) menu as a customized nutritional innovation and family financial planning as a holistic effort to reduce stunting rates in Banjaran Village through PKK mothers and cadres as the main targets. This research uses social action research with information collection in the form of observations and interviews. The results showed that modifying PMT local ingredients that have high animal protein content in stunting prevention can be a forum for the development of PMT menu innovations in Banjaran Village as an effort to prevent stunting and knowledge and understanding in improving the family economy is needed.
